In an Emergency would you know where to find a defibrillator in our village?

It would be a good idea if you could go and take a look to see where they are the next time you are in the village.

They are in the following locations: the Fire Station, the Village Hall and the Leisure Centre. Very shortly there will be an additional one will be installed at the Playing Fields on Costock Road. This has been purchased through funding by Councillor Andy Brown our Notts CC representative.

Should you have to use one you should firstly phone 999 and give them your location.  The Emergency Services will then send out a paramedic and they would also talk you through what you need to do.  Instructions how to use the defibrillator are clearly explained inside the appliance once it has been opened and can also be found on the link below.

Hopefully you will never be called on to use it but it would be good to be prepared.
