An appeal is now under way for 195 houses on Lantern Lane, and representations need to be made by 3 January.  Note that this is an appeal about the original application ref 16/03119/OUT which was refused by Rushcliffe not the resubmitted one ref 17/02292/OUT which has changes to the access and has not yet been decided by Rushcliffe. Our advice is that if you are commenting to the Inspectorate, as well as commenting on the original plans you should include any comments you have on the revised plans.  For details of how to appeal, see ….

    • Hi Paul

No its not too late. The Parish Council have not yet received official notification of this Appeal. It will be discussed at the next Planning Meeting on the 12th December.

  • Hi Sue,
Is the meeting on the 12th December open to all residents and is this a forum for views to be aired?
    Thanks

    • Hi Paul
This is a normal scheduled Planning Committee meeting at the Parish Council Office. Residents are always very welcome to attend and we can close the meeting for people to speak briefly. However we have not anticipated this being a huge meeting so we haven’t booked a hall, and space will be limited. We have already held two large public meetings about this site and have incorporated the views of residents into our objections to both applications. The most important thing would be for you to let us have any new or different points that you wish to be made if we decide to make an additional submission to the Inspectorate.
