At our Full Parish Council meeting last week, the Council voted to adopt the Armed Forces Covenant and Councillor Lynn Forsyth (pictured below alongside Chairman, Kevin Shaw) put herself forward to become the Covenant Champions for East Leake.
The Armed Forces Covenant was set up by the MOD and has been adopted by many businesses and organisations throughout the UK. The Covenant has bought together a wealth of information and contacts for both serving and former members of the Armed Forces and their families.
