How to have your say. East Leake Parish Council (ELPC) is aware of great concern about the volume of building work ongoing and being planned on green fields around East Leake.

Tree Preservation Orders.
Most people enjoy having trees and hedges as part of the village scene and find that they enhance the area. They mask unsightly development, add interest and variety, and make the place look more mature. They make homes feel more secluded and give privacy, make us feel more “villagey” and less urban, support wildlife and enhance air quality.....................

Land Purchase. 
The Parish Council has just completed the purchase of about 4 acres of land on Costock Road, immeditely to the east of Sheep Plank Lane. The land has been derelice for many years. So why did we decide to purchase.
